Our Transitional Services are designed specifically for high school students/clients in grades 9–12 and adults up to age 25 to support a successful transition from high school to post-secondary education, employment, and independent adulthood. Services will be provided through group or individual basis, depending on the client's need.
We provide individualized post-secondary education counseling to help students/clients explore college, vocational training, and alternative pathways that align with their interests, strengths, and goals.
Through instruction in self-advocacy, students/clients learn to identify their needs, understand their rights, and confidently communicate with educators, employers, and community partners.
Our work readiness counseling focuses on building workforce readiness skills, including career exploration, resume development, interview preparation, professional communication, and understanding workplace expectations. In addition, we have the GRM Workreadiness Certificate for clients to obtain.
Together, these services empower students/clients to build confidence, independence, and the skills needed for success beyond high school.
